- No guarantee of IFRS/GAAP compliance for your jurisdiction until accountant review.
- Use at your own risk for real financial data. Always keep backups, verify with qualified accountant.

## Accounting Disclaimer

- Double-entry logic implemented per best practice (debits=credits, immutable journal) but has not been audited by Big4 or BURS.
- Tax rates are configurable % only; inclusive/exclusive, zero-rated, exempt, WHT need localization pack reviewed.
- For production filing, get local chartered accountant sign-off and keep audit trail exports.

## Limitation of Liability

Per MPL-2.0 Section 7, contributors not liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential damages.

## Your Responsibilities

- Export JSON regularly (backup reminder >7d).
- Request persistent storage (app requests it).
- Comply with Botswana Data Protection Act 2024 when handling customer personal data.
- Retain records per law (Botswana VAT 5 years).
- Do not use for illegal purposes.

## Ethical Use

- No data hostage. You must allow customers full export if you host for them.
- No dark patterns.
